Privacy Policy

This page explains what Atlas Lab Music collects when you read the site, and what we do with it. It is short because we collect very little.

What we collect

Our web server keeps standard request logs: the page requested, the time, the browser user agent and a truncated network address. These logs help us see whether something is broken or being scraped. They are kept for a short period and then rotated out.

We do not run advertising networks, behavioural analytics or third party tracking pixels on this site. There is no account system, so there is nothing to sign up for and no profile for us to build.

Comments and email

If you leave a comment, the name, email address and text you submit are stored with the post so the discussion makes sense to later readers. Your email address is not published and is not added to any mailing list. If you write to us directly at [email protected], we keep the message as long as it is useful and then delete it.

Comments may be checked against a spam filtering service before they appear. That check sends the comment content and submitting address to the filter provider and nothing else.

Cookies

The site sets a cookie only when you leave a comment, so the form can remember your name next time. Nothing on the site requires cookies to read it, and blocking them will not break any page here.

Embedded content

Some posts embed audio or video hosted elsewhere. Those providers can see that you loaded the embed, and their own policies apply to that request. We keep embeds to a minimum for exactly this reason.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a comment to be edited or removed, or ask for an email thread to be deleted. Write to [email protected] and we will deal with it. We do not sell or rent any of this to anyone, because there is nothing here worth selling.
